Nursery- Ducklings

It is led by Miss Green with the support of Mrs Palmer, Mrs Brown, Miss Collard and Miss Worgan
Our Ducklings provision is for children aged 2 , it is a wonderful caring and nurturing environment, ideal for younger children making their first steps into nursery. We have a small team of dedicated and experienced staff who will provide your child with a high standard of care and through the EYFS will help to provide experiences and opportunities for your child to develop and shine. Miss Green is the Ducklings teacher along with Mrs Palmer and Mrs Brown as the Duckling room lead.
Each child will have their own little folder. In the folder it will have information about what they have done each session they are in, what they have eaten and information regarding naps and toileting. You are also encouraged to comment in their too. We are also always happy to chat when you drop off or pick up your child if you have any queries.
During the week we are lucky enough to be able to go to our Forest. We would love for you to provide your child with wellies.
Early Reading

We also have Flump visit in Ducklings. We love it when Flump joins us and challenges us to a game. We have to practise our good sitting, good listening and good looking when learning with Flump. Our activities are based on Phase 1 phonics.
We also recognise the importance of singing Nursery Rhymes which is also part of phonics. How many Nursery Rhymes does your child know? Have a listen to our singing:
