Offmore Primary School

Welcome to Offmore Primary School

Uniform

School Uniform provides our school with a secure sense of identity, enabling all our children to feel proud.  Wearing our uniform enables children to feel confident, protected from social pressure and free to focus on their learning.

Securing the right atmosphere in school is vital.  We ask that all parents ensure their child conforms to our dress code at all times.  In addition we request that all items are clearly labelled with the child’s name.

An order form can beUniform order form, or a paper copy can be collected from the school office.

Be Smart. Be Proud. Be Offmore!

Jewellery

Jewellery is not part of our school uniform and must not be worn to school as we cannot be responsible for loss or damage.  Children with pierced ears should only wear stud earrings which must be removed at home on PE days. Children will not be allowed to take part in PE whilst wearing jewellery.  PE is a legal requirement and part of the National Curriculum and it is therefore essential that all children take part in every session.

Pierced Ears

Small studs are acceptable where a child has pierced ears.  However during PE sessions the studs must be removed.  Please ensure on PE days your child has their studs removed before arriving at school.

Hair

Where a child has long hair it must be tied back at all times.  As part of school we are supporting children with how their skills apply to the real world.  As part of this appearance is important.  We are keen that all hairstyles are smart and appropriate.  Aspects such as tramlines, shaved heads, extreme or unnatural colour should be avoid at all times.

School Uniform

NURSERY

We would prefer our Nursery children to wear appropriate, easy to manage clothes such as polo shirts, sweatshirts and jogging pants/leggings.  Sweatshirts and polo shirts with the school badge can be purchased from the school office.  School sweatshirts and school polo shirts are ordered through the school office.
